We are on this journey toward healing, change, growth, forgiveness, and understanding. Even though you are the main participant in your story, many times in life we lose sight of where the way is, or even how to find it, so I invite you to join me on this path. Humbly, without judging you or even assuming that I know more, allow me to lend you a different perspective and hopefully see the pain transformed.

Hi everyone! I'm Josh. Do you struggle with social anxiety and poor self-confidence? I know that overcoming it is possible! Many come to therapy because of childhood trauma and how it has manifested in their adult lives. Often this manifests in feelings of poor self-confidence, self-worth, and social anxiety. At its root, the fundamental belief of those who have social anxiety is the belief, “I am not enough.” Clients get into the habit of comparing themselves to others and it makes them feel inadequate and insecure. Over time clients begin to avoid situations that elicit their anxiety, particularly social situations. This can lead to social isolation and loneliness. Clients will present with complaints of frequent panic attacks, not having a romantic partner, not having friends, not being happy in their jobs and feeling disconnected from life. They are labeled by others as shy, quiet, or introverted. This scenario described myself for much of my life which gives me lived experience to better able to assist you. I help individuals combat their social fears and begin to live a rich and fulfulling life. I do this through cognitive behavioral therapy techniques primarily but also integrate solution-focused therapy, assertiveness training, exposure therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. Whether you're a teen struggling to make friends and socialize or you are an adult unable to speak up at work meetings or unable to ask someone out on a date, I'm here for you! Seeking therapy can be frightening but I want to assure you that you will be most welcome if you take that leap of faith!

There are so many messages that you’ve probably lived with growing up that don’t work for you anymore. Messages that make it hard to be present, to get things done, or make you feel like you're in "survival mode". Maybe you’re expected to move on from some hard times – or hard losses. Or maybe you’ve always had to be the “Perfect One”, the “Black Sheep” or the “Silent One” in your family. But there’s so much more to you than your struggles or the labels that have been placed on you. You don't have to live life feeling overwhelmed with negative thoughts, numbness, or expectations every day. You deserve to live authentically. You should speak to a counselor who recognizes that there is tremendous beauty to the person you are already. Your blood is of rich ancestry, heritage, triumphs and identity. I already know you have all the tools you need to live more mindfully. Every now and then we may all just need the support to see it. Let's talk!

Thank you for considering me for your personal mental health therapist and emotions coach. The last few years have been traumatic, distressing, and challenging in ways that have caused us to adjust our traditional views of the world or revise how we will continue to survive within it. Many have chosen to grasp tightly onto their conventional beliefs in search of comfort in what they find to be familiar. We have been impacted by trauma in one way or another but not all of us have the recourse to fall back on our inner strengths and continue with our capacity to be resilient. We get trapped in feelings of hopelessness and fatigue. We need someone to guide us and bring us back out from the darkness, back into the light. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who has over 15 years of experience with counseling and 20 years of experience serving families. My treatment philosophy is to utilize psychotherapy and clinical social work theories in a strength-based model to optimize coping skills and tools needed for your well-being. This is done through our building of trust, a good rapport, and growing a secure and confidential dyad supported by feelings of empathy, respect, and validation without furthering any pity or blame, you may have experienced in the past. My practice skills and interventions are best implemented through the use of Motivational Interviewing, Life Coaching Skills, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy within a transformational change model.

Greetings, You may have read through a few profiles, and I owe you to feel the difference with mine. My name is Brahm, well, actually it is Robert Abraham Fay, my parents were hippies, so you can see where that went. Life can be difficult, and I know this first-hand. By the age of 17 I was in a homeless shelter (due to a violent alcoholic stepfather), and I had some people help me along the way. Vocational Rehabilitation helped me get a bike, and I rode to Valencia College for 2 years, was recruited to Rollins College on a grant, and attended grad-school at Troy University. I have taught upon resilience in: China, Russia, Germany, and the US. Here's what's up, of course life is difficult, and the more we run from it the more we suffer. All those years in homeless shelters taught me how to ask for help when necessary. I am a licensed clinician; perhaps trapped in a case manager's body. Counselors can provide a flashlight on all of the nooks & crannies of the past, but as your case manager, we are looking at a spotlight on your future. I will never ask, "How does that make you feel?" Dumb question. I avoid the word "why," too judgemental. "Should, would, and could" are toxic verbiage as well. My job is to get fired. Plain and simple. People only need me like training wheels. The answers being sought are already inside, hence the flashlight. What stokes my professional fire is on the outside, where the version of YOU2.0 shines through. If you are a member of a marginalized population, including all of my LGBTAQLatin+ Non-Binary, Sis, Pan, Poly & Unlabeled family, I see you and I love you. Incels & Toxic Masculinity folk are welcome on my roster; alas, only if they believe they can recover in a safe place, as my door is always open to individual improvement. Let's find your voice, and then you can fire me! YAY!!! (confetti) That's the thrust of my existence, when I text you -- and you say, "Thank you for everything, Brahm, I think I've got this now." See? That's what's up.

Early on I experienced an unwavering passion to help others. This deep-seated desire led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. My aspirations didn't stop there. Upon venturing into the social service field I gained a strong interest in working with deviant youth, giving me the motivation to complete a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, along with a Master's in Social Science with a concentration in Criminal Justice. After attaining four college degrees, I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. For over 8 years, I have dedicated myself to serving the community and gaining invaluable experience along the way. I have acquired educational, professional, and personal experiences which help guide others on their healing journey, overcoming trauma, cultivating emotional stability, and addressing psychological distress. The utmost focus is to extend a helping hand to those grappling with anxiety, family conflicts, depression, and ADHD. By having a down-to-earth demeanor, and professional expertise with a genuine yet compassionate nature; the aim is to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where you can explore your inner strengths, discover resilience, and embrace personal growth.

Hello, my name is Devon. Do you feel stuck and frustrated? I have over thirty-four years of experience working with individuals who feel the same way you do. I’ve been able to work together with individuals to reduce their feelings of anxiety, and I’ve been able to increase an individual's self-esteem, self-worth, self-image, and self-concept. I’ve also been effective in improving individual feelings of well-being. I aim to get individuals back to their highest level of functioning. I use cognitive restructured techniques, positive self-talk, relaxation skills training, etc. In short, I help individuals become unstuck, and we work together to get them back to doing the things they once enjoyed, which is living their best life. I have over thirty-four years of experience working with children, adults, and families. Yet, I’ve been successful in helping individuals reduce feelings of depression, poor anger management, unresolved family conflict, and substance abuse misuse, and I’ve been able to empower individuals with relationship issues to speak their truth.
