I have a BA in Communications from Michigan State University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan. I worked for Candle Lighters of Brevard, when I first moved to town. My father had a stroke and he was in and out of hospitals and nursing homes for 6 years. His illness prompted me to go back to school at the University of Central Florida to obtain my BSN-RN. I worked Labor Delivery/Mother Baby at Wuesthof Melbourne for five years, during which time I went back to University of Central Florida to achieve my MSN/ Family Nurse Practitioner. During that time I also got divorced and was a single mother to an amazing son.
