I hold EMDR and talk therapy sessions with clients who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and difficulty navigating challenges and transitions. However, I specialize in perinatal mental health, infertility, and EMDR. In addition, I run a support group for women struggling with infertility. Through additional training and certifications, I have and continue to develop a variety of tools to support you, and I may use different techniques during our work together. Accordingly, my approach is best described as client-centered and strengths-based, drawing also on theories and strategies of cognitive-behavioral therapy. When I am not practicing as a therapist, I am spending time with my family. We love to stuff our faces with tasty food and find new adventures. I also dabble in wedding photography as a creative outlet. But generally, you will find me advocating for women struggling with infertility and all the experiences it brings. Hello, I'm Dr. Rafat Omar. I'm a licensed clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania. I work with clients of all ages, couples, and families. I'm trained as a generalist and have knowledge and experience in treating a broad range of psychological issues. I have extensive experience working with and diagnosing individuals with autism spectrum disorder as well.
