The pressures of the modern world seem never ending, particularly when you deal with an untreated or difficult to treat mental health or substance use issue. I specialize in certain mental health diagnoses including personality disorders, postpartum issues, depression/anxiety, self harm/suicidal ideation. I am prepared to assist you in offering helpful coping strategies, understanding the psychology behind your experiences/symptoms, processing feelings and thoughts, and gaining better traction on your life. My specialty is in mental health and substance use (dual diagnosis). I am DBT certified. I have worked with individuals impacted by cycles of trauma, violence, and substances in various settings including psychiatric hospitals, county jail, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics. My mission? Help people THRIVE and be SEEN/HEARD despite these circumstances. I understand that both making sense of the issue(s) at hand and reaching out is incredibly anxiety producing. What I provide is a safe and warm space where you can explore your needs, current feelings, history, and goals. You have the power to stop fighting what is out of your control, and harness your power to control what is just within your grasp.

Hello, I am Chung, a bi-lingual Vietnamese licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in California with over 20 years of experience in mental health field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief & loss, PTSD, anger & stress management, relationship issues, substance abuse, parenting problems, individual with special needs, career challenges, OCD & ADHD, bi-polar, BPD, schizophrenia, etc. However, I don't accept couple/family at this time. I also don't provide any verification letter. I believe in working in partnership with clients, utilizing their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals. I also realize how important it is to identify all aspects of an individual’s life that impact their well-being including their physical health, support systems (family, friends), work or school environment, faith & spirituality in this process. I think when people have hope and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, people are free to experience change. I’m Steven Frank. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), licensed in California and living in Seattle, Washington. The way the law works is that if I have a California license, I can live outside of California, but can only work with California residents. For that reason, all my work is performed online through telehealth. I see adults and senior adults in my practice and my work is with individuals. I’ve been licensed since 1983 but actually began to “grow” a private practice beginning in 1990. While most of my experience has been with clients dealing with depression and anxiety, over the last 4-5 years I’ve been more focused on the treatment for symptoms of trauma and abuse. I’ve been trained in EMDR (a specific treatment for trauma), and will use that method as needed, when appropriate, and with your understanding of the process, and consent. By the way, my first job experience (before beginning my schooling for the MFT license), was in the California State Hospital system as a psychiatric technician. I was a member of a hospital inpatient treatment team that treated people with severe mental disorders. This was excellent training for working with clients who are seeking help, but on an outpatient basis.

Life has shown up, and you might feel depressed, anxious, lonely, or angry. You could be struggling in your relationships. Are you using drugs or alcohol to cope with life? Do you have unresolved grief, trauma, or shame? Do you allow your emotions to control you? If you can relate to these questions, you’ve found the right place. You’ve taken the first step towards self-healing and transformation. For nine years, I have treated clients with depression, anxiety, relational issues, anger issues, addictions, PTSD, and other mental health diagnoses to make lasting positive changes. Having worked through many of life’s problems and experiences myself, I can empathize and relate to most issues and connect with almost anyone. Working together, we will assess your current situation, process your past, and establish objectives to accomplish your goals. Most issues we struggle with start with the relationship we have with ourselves. When we change ourselves, we solve our issues. My clients report they have experienced a revitalized relationship with themselves to resolve their current issues and to better navigate feelings, relationships & life’s challenges. In therapy, I provide a safe, caring, and nonjudgmental environment and use evidence-based therapies to help you meet your goals.

In my practice, I utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) within a trauma-informed care framework to support clients struggling with self-esteem, body image, and relationship issues. Recognizing the impact of trauma on these areas, I create a safe and empathetic environment where clients feel validated and understood. DBT's structured approach helps clients develop practical skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. For self-esteem and body image concerns, I focus on helping clients cultivate self-compassion and challenge negative self-talk through mindfulness and acceptance strategies, always being mindful of their trauma history. In addressing relationship issues, I guide clients in building healthier communication patterns and setting appropriate boundaries using DBT's interpersonal effectiveness skills, while ensuring a trauma-sensitive approach. By integrating these techniques, I empower clients to navigate their emotions more effectively, improve their self-perception, and foster more fulfilling relationships, all within a context that prioritizes their safety and well-being.

Hi, I'm Celina. We all face things in our lives that can be overwhelming. Whether we are challenged with traumas from our past or dealing with stressors of today, our stories matter. The good news is that we don’t have to face this alone. Taking this step isn't always easy, but it's worth it. I have dedicated many years to giving back to my community and have worked in a variety of settings which has allowed me to serve a diverse population. During my career, I have been honored to support the LGBT community, work as a therapist in a community clinic, and provide support to those experiencing tragedy during my time as a 911 crisis counselor. Sitting in a patrol car each day has also given me insight into what our first responders face on a daily basis. Throughout my work, both personally and professionally, I learned that we all have a story and each story matters. Whether you are challenged with relationships, trauma, depression, grief, anxiety, or facing other life situations, I will provide you with a safe space to share. We all hold the power to change our habits, patterns and to gain insight into why we do the things we do. My goal is to walk beside you in your journey toward wellness so that when you leave, you feel empowered, healthy and confident for your future.

Whether you are struggling with sadness, finding the energy to do things in life, low self-esteem, anxiety, anger, trauma, unhealthy coping, or even masking your emotions; you are capable and you can heal. I truly believe that most people will do well when they know how to do well. It's hard to ask for help and it's hard to accept the help. We just get stuck in the quick fix, easiest option, or the least emotionally draining route. My style towards therapy is direct, relational, and authentic. I won't sugar coat things or tell you what you "want" to hear, and I hope the same from you. This is about you and for you.

You don’t have to struggle alone! I look forward to the opportunity to work collaboratively with you in your journey in discovering how to make positive changes, decrease negative behaviors and thoughts, and help improve your mood and engagement with life! In our hectic world we often find ourselves afraid to take risks that could jeopardize the stable lives we have created for ourselves. We remain in jobs, relationships and old patterns that no longer work, while symptoms such as anxiety, depression, stress, anger and self-defeating patterns keep us from making real changes to our lives. If that sounds like you, you are stuck. We can feel lost and alone when we are unable to move forward, whether in work or a personal relationship. Therapy can help you break free of that and thrive. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a focus on teens, adults, and couples. I have worked with clients on concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family reunification. I received my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I also minored in sociology.
