I'm Cheryl Polyudhapoom. I'm a daughter, sister, wife, & mother to a beautiful child. I have worked with children, youth, and families involved with the foster care system for 15 years. During that time I worked with Educational Professionals, Law Enforcement, and supervised Social Workers. I have lived in Los Angeles, San Jose, Monterey, and Bakersfield, CA which has provided me with experience in working with various populations and communities throughout California. I've started my own private practice because I’m committed to helping adults learn how to build healthier relationships, be free from trauma, and to overall learn how to manage their mental health. My work focuses on targeting negative behaviors, habits, and thoughts. I believe in utilizing multiple modalities in treatment to help clients reach their goals, but my primary approach in treatment is through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a Minor in Asian American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Master's Degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Children, Youth, and Families from San Jose State University.
