Hey there! My name is Sarah Lesko. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working in El Dorado Hills as well as within the state of California. I am a ciswoman using she/her pronouns. Other identities that I hold: parent of two littles, second-generation Chinese American, and Caucasian. Throughout the years, I have had the privilege to serve the psychotherapeutic community including children, adults, and older adults. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I have experience working with clients and families of all ages and backgrounds who have experienced a variety of challenges. I bring to the table an eclectic psycho therapeutic approach utilizing evidenced based therapeutic interventions. I believe that you need to meet each individual that you are working with where they are, creating a safe and secure environment in order to promote strength and balance. My goal is to provide a non-judgmental, and collaborative setting for my clients to share their thoughts and their feelings and feel safe while doing so. It is important to allow each individual person to feel empowered, to let them know how resilient they are, and to be better equipped to handle life's everyday stressors. Seeking out mental health services can be overwhelming and scary at first. But it is my goal as a therapist to help my clients feel safe and to allow them to truly be themselves.

I provide a safe, relaxing environment where you will feel comfortable uncovering the issues you are experiencing. My approach is calming and kind, and because of my personality I focus on positive outcomes. I believe you have the capability to relearn negative thinking and behaviors that have contributed to life's struggles. My experience covers adults and adolescents in areas of trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, grief/loss, educational and career planning, infertility, adoption, life transitions, and suicidal ideation/attempted recovery. I know therapy can be scary and intimidating, however with me you will feel like I really do care and understand what you are trying to say.
