Hi there, I'm Dr. Christina.
Do you have a hard time regulating your emotions? Are you struggling to find meaning and value in life? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? How are your relationships with others?
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with several years of experience working in clinical psychology settings, ranging from an inpatient psychiatric hospital to a women's residential substance use disorder treatment program. I help people who are easily overwhelmed to learn distress tolerance techniques and stress management skills. Together, we can strategize about what to do to help you to manage your emotions. We'll use a whole self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness, yoga and art to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself.
Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!

I’m Steven Frank. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), licensed in California and living in Seattle, Washington. The way the law works is that if I have a California license, I can live outside of California, but can only work with California residents. For that reason, all my work is performed online through telehealth. I see adults and senior adults in my practice and my work is with individuals.
I’ve been licensed since 1983 but actually began to “grow” a private practice beginning in 1990. While most of my experience has been with clients dealing with depression and anxiety, over the last 4-5 years I’ve been more focused on the treatment for symptoms of trauma and abuse. I’ve been trained in EMDR (a specific treatment for trauma), and will use that method as needed, when appropriate, and with your understanding of the process, and consent.
By the way, my first job experience (before beginning my schooling for the MFT license), was in the California State Hospital system as a psychiatric technician. I was a member of a hospital inpatient treatment team that treated people with severe mental disorders. This was excellent training for working with clients who are seeking help, but on an outpatient basis.

As a licensed clinical social worker, I have treated children and young adults from ages 3-25 with a range of concerns, from anxiety, ADHD, Autism, depression, learning disabilities, TBI, and much more. I love to learn, laugh and play with my clients as I create a space where they know that no matter what they will be met with transparency, authenticity, safety and unconditional care and positive regard. Being a kid can be a really lonely part of life and I aim to help them develop coping skills, social skills and self-esteem to help them accept support and fortify relationships. With experience as a school social worker and an intensive outpatient program therapist, I am confident we can find a solution.
If you are interersted in supplemental group therapy for yourself or your child please let me know. Group therapy is a very effective treatment for children and young adults.

You don’t have to struggle alone!
I look forward to the opportunity to work collaboratively with you in your journey in discovering how to make positive changes, decrease negative behaviors and thoughts, and help improve your mood and engagement with life!
In our hectic world we often find ourselves afraid to take risks that could jeopardize the stable lives we have created for ourselves. We remain in jobs, relationships and old patterns that no longer work, while symptoms such as anxiety, depression, stress, anger and self-defeating patterns keep us from making real changes to our lives.
If that sounds like you, you are stuck. We can feel lost and alone when we are unable to move forward, whether in work or a personal relationship. Therapy can help you break free of that and thrive.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a focus on teens, adults, and couples. I have worked with clients on concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family reunification.
I received my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I also minored in sociology.
