I received my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner post Master's education from Eastern Kentucky University and Family Nurse Practitioner Master's degree from the University of Phoenix. Then I moved to California and began practicing outpatient, inpatient and emergency medicine and psychiatry. Wanting to make systemic change, I attended Stanford Law school and learned I found more satisfaction in patient care than legal briefs. My career expanded where I now serve as a legal medical expert, adjunct professor, and deputy medical director for an integrated health organization.
