Life is a challenge - one finds sadness and joy; darkness and light; despair and hope. We can learn how to face all of these experiences, accepting both the consolation and the trials inherent in each. I can help clients navigate this great journey, as they build the habits needed to bring fullness of life. I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from Portland State University and have practiced in the areas of adults, children & families, couples, and geriatrics for nearly 20 years. I focus on working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, & grief. I have substantial experience working with binge-eating disorder, geriatrics, substance use, sexual abuse, child abuse, domestic violence, and suicide. I developed my clinical experience at Vitas Healthcare (hospice), the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and other agencies both in the United States and the United Kingdom.
