I am a License Marriage and Family Therapist and have been practicing for 11 years. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma at various stages of life. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to support client in reaching their goals. I bring both clinical expertise and genuine care to my work, helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
The first session is all about getting to know you and creating a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any questions or concerns you may have. I’ll ask about your personal history, current challenges, and what you hope to gain from the process.
My greatest strengths as a therapist lie in my ability to help clients make meaningful progress toward their goals through a balance of practical skill-building, honest reflection, and a sense of humor. I’m direct but supportive, helping clients stay focused and motivated while also making space for laughter and lightness when it’s needed most. I believe therapy should be both effective and human—rooted in real connection, tailored tools, and a shared commitment to growth. Clients often say they appreciate my straightforward style, relatable approach, and the way I help them turn insight into action.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to move forward from whatever challenge they are facing. Someone who may still be carrying the weight of past experiences but is motivated to do the work of healing. They might not have all the answers (and don’t need to), but they’re open to exploring their patterns, building new skills, and actively engaging in the process of change. I work best with clients who show up with honesty, curiosity, and a willingness to challenge old narratives in the quest for growth.
I use several interventions to identify negative thought process negatively impacting your worldview and identity and work towards changing those thought to healthier though process.
