I'm very skilled in working in areas of anxiety, depression, hurt/anger, life transitions, grief/loss, self-esteem, parenting concerns, and more. Our work together is collaborative, and I am committed to helping each of my clients overcome their present challenges and begin to live the life they want and deserve!

Our conversation will help me gain a greater understanding of how I can best help you.

My treatment methods

Integrative

One type of therapy does not fit all. I approach clients with an integrative and strengths-based approach that draws from ideas and techniques from various therapeutic schools of thought depending on each client's unique needs. I utilize elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, solution focused therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, among others. I have had great success with my clients using this approach throughout the course of my practice.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as part of my overall integrative approach with my clients. CBT works well for my clients who are experiencing Anxiety and Panic attacks, Anger problems, Depression, Stress, Life Transitions, Bipolar disorder, and many other mental health conditions.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I utilize mindfulness techniques and strategies to help clients reduce stress, anxiety, and become more aware of thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviors that create automatic conditioned responses.

Psychodynamic

Sometimes we have to take a look at our past experiences and how they have shaped some of our present thoughts and behaviors. I utilize psychodynamic techniques to increase self-awareness and help my clients gain more control of their mental health.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize elements of Solution Focused Therapy with clients to identify positive directions for change, along with building solutions towards their preferred future.
