I’m passionate about helping people break through challenges and create the life they’ve always wanted. With a background in school psychology and years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, I use mindfulness and CBT strategies to guide clients toward healing, self-discovery, and resilience. My goal is to help my clients build the strength to manage discomfort, develop real coping skills, and navigate life with confidence. Therapy isn’t just about overcoming struggles—it’s about unlocking your potential. Let’s do the work together!
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is all about getting to know each other and creating a space where you feel comfortable and heard. I know that opening up to a stranger isn’t always easy, so we’ll take our time building trust and connection. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. My goal is to understand your unique experiences and help you set tangible, meaningful goals so we can create a path forward—at your pace, in a way that feels right for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is my ability to see the world through my clients’ eyes, offering patience, understanding, and a judgment-free space. I let my clients take the lead, guiding them with empathy and insight while ensuring they feel heard, valued, and supported every step of the way.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
In today’s world, stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma are more common than ever. Yet, for many people of color, seeking mental health support can feel daunting due to stigma, shame, and a deep-rooted distrust of the system. That’s why I approach therapy with cultural awareness, meeting my clients where they are and honoring their unique experiences. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering—where healing happens through genuine connection, interactive support, and acceptance. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I aim to inspire my clients to be active agents in their own success. To transform maladaptive thought patterns and behaviors while considering cultural and environmental challenges, and the uniqueness of each client’s situation.
