Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a supportive, judgment-free space. We’ll begin by discussing what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. I may ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, and any past experiences with therapy or mental health. This helps me understand your unique story and how I can best support you. We'll also review important information such as confidentiality, boundaries, and what the therapy process might look like moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is the blend of compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based care I bring to each session. I take a trauma-informed, client-centered approach—meaning I meet you where you are, honoring your experiences and strengths while supporting your goals at your own pace. I integrate proven therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brainspotting techniques, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based techniques, tailored to your unique needs.
