I’m a compassionate Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to supporting you on your mental health journey. I take a holistic, patient-centered approach to care, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to address your unique concerns and goals. Whether you’re struggling with opioid use, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or other mental health challenges, I’m here to help you find balance, healing, and confidence in your path forward.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where we will take time to discuss your mental health concerns and goals. I will ask about your history, any symptoms you're experiencing, and your personal and family background to get a better understanding of your needs. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that aligns with your values and preferences, whether it involves medication, therapy, or other approaches. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, supported, and empowered as we begin working toward your mental health and wellness goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
As a provider, I believe my greatest strengths are my compassion, holistic approach to care, and ability to connect with patients from all walks of life. I take the time to truly listen to my patients, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where they feel comfortable sharing their concerns. My diverse experience—ranging from treating opioid use disorder with Suboxone to managing conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma—allows me to offer personalized, comprehensive care. I’m committed to collaborating with patients to develop tailored treatment plans that address both their immediate needs and long-term goals, ensuring that they feel supported and empowered throughout their journey.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to serve individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, who need psychiatric care for a range of conditions, including opioid use disorder (with Suboxone treatment), ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and general mental health concerns. With experience in both medication management and psychotherapy, I offer holistic, personalized care for those seeking support in overcoming addiction, managing mood disorders, and improving overall mental health and well-being. My ability to work with diverse populations and provide integrated treatment makes me well-suited to help individuals navigate their mental health challenges and achieve lasting recovery.
Supportive
I use positive psychology in my practice by focusing on patients' strengths, resilience, and personal growth. I help them identify their core strengths, set meaningful goals, and practice techniques like mindfulness and gratitude to enhance well-being and foster a positive outlook on their mental health. This approach empowers patients to build lasting coping skills and improve overall life satisfaction.
