Hi there! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, practicing as a psychotherapist for over 5 years. My approach is warm, compassionate and collaborative. I always want individuals to feel as though they are a part of their own treatment team. Together, we will uncover what is holding you back and build tools to help you feel more grounded, empowered and at peace. My goal is to help you feel more confident and connected to yourself and the world around you. In our work together you will find a calm environment where growth feels possible and healing can begin.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and never judged. We'll talk about what brings you in, what you're hoping for, and anything you feel ready to share. More than anything, it is a chance to start building trust and laying the foundation for a strong and supportive therapeutic relationship, because that connection is key to meaningful work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a warm and down-to-earth approach while still offering the structure and professionalism that helps real progress happen. Therapy with me feels like a conversation with someone who genuinely gets you, someone who is nonjudgemental and relatable but also knows how to gently challenge and guide you through meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, and the overwhelm that can come with big life changes or everyday stress. Whether you are new to therapy or returning, I am here to meet you where you are.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I like to blend practical CBT tools with deeper insight work to help clients understand where their patterns come from, and teach skills to challenge and change them. CBT can be helpful for understanding the underlying beliefs as well as the thought-feeling-action connection, which can ultimately lead to a shift in unhelpful thought patterns.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients make space for difficult thoughts and feelings, while still moving toward their goals and what matters most to them. With ACT, we focus less on getting rid of uncomfortable emotions and more on learning how to live alongside them while building a meaningful life.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their own reasons for change, without pressure or judgement. MI is all about collaboration. I will support you in finding your own motivation and confidence to take steps toward your goals.

Relational

I believe healing happens in relationships, including the one that we build in therapy. I use our connection as a way to explore patterns and create change. We will also look at how your past and present relationships shape how you see yourself and others, and work together to shift any patterns that are not serving you.
