With almost 20 years of experience as a nurse practitioner managing primary care, psychiatric, and geriatric clients, my focus has shifted in the past year to specialize more in psychiatric care. Although my primary focus is on anxiety and depression, I also work extensively with older adults, individuals managing chronic illnesses, those experiencing grief, and clients with ADHD. My holistic approach enables me to address a wide range of mental health challenges, ensuring that care is personalized and tailored to each client’s specific needs. By combining therapy, medication management, and lifestyle adjustments, I empower clients to thrive on their unique journeys toward better mental health and overall well-being.
In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where we’ll explore their concerns and goals for treatment. I’ll conduct a thorough assessment, including their mental health history, current symptoms, and any relevant medical information. We’ll discuss their experiences with previous treatments, if applicable, and begin to develop a personalized care plan that may include therapy, medication management, or lifestyle changes. My goal is to ensure clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to take the first steps toward improving their mental health.
My greatest strengths as a provider lie in creating a compassionate and supportive environment for adults while offering personalized, evidence-based care. I am committed to listening to my clients' unique experiences and crafting treatment plans that address their specific needs. My expertise in managing complex cases of depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, and the challenges associated with aging allows me to provide comprehensive, collaborative care that fosters strong therapeutic relationships and supports long-term mental well-being.
Adults navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, or grief, particularly those seeking a comprehensive and personalized approach to care. My focus includes older adults and individuals managing chronic illnesses who require specialized mental health support. Clients who appreciate a collaborative, compassionate process involving medication management, therapy, and lifestyle adjustments will find my approach especially beneficial.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice, I utilize evidence-based treatment methods tailored to individual patient needs, such as incorporating pharmacological interventions and therapeutic techniques for optimal outcomes. My experience with these methods involves continuously evaluating their effectiveness and adjusting care plans to ensure patient safety and well-being.

This was just my first appointment and all we did was an initial intake, covering current mental health status and history, medical history and medications, so it's really too soon for me to make a judgement of her as a mental health provider.
