I understand that seeking therapy may sometimes feel intimidating, but I endeavor to create a safe, supportive space for people to explore opportunities for growth and change in their lives. I specialize in working with transgender/trans and non-binary people and the LGBTQ+ population. I also work with: depression, anxiety, women’s issues, sexual abuse, self-harm, autism, relationship issues, domestic violence, hoarding, life transitions, work stress, and self-esteem.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I'll tell you how the process works and answer any questions you might have. Then I'll let you tell me how I can help.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is my personality. I'm very easy going and I love talking with people.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I enjoy using ACT to help clients with a range of issues.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a great modality to use when a person is able to use cognitive methods to resolve thinking errors!

Attachment-based

Attachment is an important part of relationships. I'm so glad that we're talking about this on social media platforms lately. I have good insight into this style as well.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I have been using CPT for several years to help people with PTSD to overcome their trauma.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a great modality. We used to only use it with people with Borderline Personality Disorder, but now we know it works for many things.
