(she/her)
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Mind-Body-Soul Coach, I work with seasoned therapy clients who are ready to take their therapy to the next level and dive deeper. My approach moves beyond the surface of traditional talk therapy to integrate holistic health for the Mind, Body, Spirit, and Soul. With specialized certifications in Spiritually Integrated Therapy and Integrative Mental Health, I bridge the gap between clinical expertise and holistic wisdom. Whether we are incorporating your unique spiritual beliefs or exploring natural alternatives for emotional well-being, our work is tailored to your specific path. Because stress often lives in the body, I utilize my Somatic training as a Certified Vagal Toning Practitioner to help you move out of "fight or flight" and release stored emotions and trauma. I will teach you practical tools to balance your nervous system through strengthening the Vagus Nerve, allowing you to build genuine resilience to trauma and daily stressors. Through this deep work, we will identify past patterns that no longer serve you, and we will alchemize your pain into power. By setting intentional, soul-aligned goals, I will help you step into your highest self and live with more vitality and purpose!
We spend the first session discussing your concerns and what brought you to therapy, and what has worked for you in previous sessions and what has not worked. I will then explain my therapeutic process and what modalities can support you with your current concerns. We will work together to develop a treatment plan, which serves as a roadmap to your therapeutic journey. The goals we set together are designed to address your main concerns step by step so you don't feel overwhelmed. There is also space for you to ask any clarifying questions about my experience.
What stands out about my approach is the recognition that a symptom—whether it is anxiety, trauma, or a sense of displacement—is often a messenger from the deeper self. While many therapeutic models focus on "fixing" what is broken, I view our work as an integration of the whole human experience. I utilize a "Top-Down, Bottom-Up, and Inside-Out" methodology to ensure that healing isn't just understood intellectually, but felt biologically and spiritually. 1. The Bottom-Up Approach: Somatic Safety & The Vagus Nerve Before we can dive into the mysteries of the soul, we must ensure the "vessel" (the body) feels safe. Many people who have spent years in talk therapy find themselves frustrated because they intellectually know they are safe, yet their heart still races and their breath remains shallow. As a Certified Vagal Toning Practitioner, I help you move past the limitations of logic. We work directly with the nervous system to shift you out of chronic "Fight, Flight, or Freeze" responses. By toning the Vagus nerve, we build physiologic resilience. This creates the "calm container" necessary for deeper psychological and spiritual exploration. You don’t just learn to manage stress; you rewire your body’s baseline for peace. 2. The Inside-Out Approach: Jungian Tools & The Shadow When a client experiences a spiritual awakening, it often feels like an undoing. You may feel a disconnect from your old life, a surge in synchronicity, or a sudden confrontation with parts of yourself you’ve long ignored. To navigate this, I incorporate metaphysical Jungian-oriented tools to help you make sense of the unconscious mind: Shadow Work: We look at the "unlived" parts of your life—the traits and desires pushed aside to satisfy societal or familial expectations. Bringing these into the light reduces internal conflict and releases a massive amount of "stuck" energy. Symbolism & Archetypes: During an awakening, the logical mind often fails us. We look at the symbols appearing in your life and dreams to understand the archetypal patterns at play. This helps you move from feeling "crazy" to feeling like a participant in a profound, meaningful transformation. Individuation: My goal is to support your journey toward becoming your most authentic, undivided self. We work to bridge the gap between your ego (who you think you are) and the Self (the wholeness of who you are meant to be). 3. The Metaphysical Lens: Navigating Spiritual Awakening Psychological distress and spiritual expansion often look identical on the surface. What some call "depression" might actually be a "Dark Night of the Soul"—a necessary shedding of an old identity. As a Spiritually Integrated Therapist, I hold space for the metaphysical without judgment. Whether you are navigating a "Kundalini" awakening, a shift in consciousness, or a crisis of faith, we treat these experiences as valid and sacred. Integrative Mental Health: We look at the "fuel" for this journey. Using natural alternatives and holistic protocols, we ensure your physical health supports your spiritual expansion. Energy & Intention: We explore how your energetic boundaries and spiritual practices (or lack thereof) are impacting your mental clarity. The Result: Embodying the Highest Self Clients who work with me don't just "get better"—they evolve. You can expect a shift from "knowing" your problems to embodying your solutions. By the end of our work, you will have a regulated nervous system that can handle the stressors of the modern world, a toolkit for understanding the language of your soul, and the spiritual groundedness to live as your highest, most integrated self. You will move from a state of survival into a state of conscious creation.
I am best positioned to serve high achieving clients who have a degree of self-awareness and have already spent time in traditional talk therapy. They still feel a persistent disconnect between mind, body, and spirit, and want to integrate these aspects of themselves in order to feel whole. My ideal clients are those who are tired of just managing symptoms and are ready to address the root energetic and physiological causes of their distress. You are a fit for my practice if: You feel "stuck" in your body: You understand your trauma or anxiety intellectually, but your nervous system is still stuck in a cycle of fight, flight, or freeze. You value Holistic Integration: You recognize that mental health is inseparable from physical vitality and spiritual alignment. You are looking for a practitioner who won't ignore your soul or your biology in favor of just your "thoughts." You are Spiritually Curious or Committed: Whether you follow a specific faith tradition or identify as "spiritual but not religious," you want a safe space where your beliefs are treated as a powerful tool for healing rather than a taboo subject. If you have experienced a Spiritual Awakening or would like to, I am an ideal fit for you. You are Proactive: You are ready to move beyond "venting" sessions and into a collaborative partnership. You are looking for a guide to help you implement natural alternatives, nervous system regulation, and soul-aligned self-care. If you are ready to stop talking about your life and start embodying your highest self, we will work exceptionally well together. My goal is to help you move from a state of survival and fragmented health into a life of integrated resilience and deep, soulful purpose.
Somatic
I use various body based techniques, which involve gentle movement to teach the client about the important relationship with their own body and its feedback cues in order to release trapped trauma and emotions from the body. Some examples of body-based techniques I use in my practice are Therapeutic Qigong, Dance & Movement Therapy, and Emotional Freedom Technique. Qigong is the ancient practice of using gentle, rhythmic movements, breathwork, and focused intention to regulate the nervous system and cultivate the body's vital energy (Qi). This practice promotes grounding, promotes calm and relaxation, and releases energy through the body. Dance & Movement Therapy (DMT) engages clients in guided or spontaneous movement, where they can safely access and release trapped emotions that traditional talk therapy often fails to reach. This leads to profound shifts in bodily awareness and creative emotional expression. Emotional Freedom Technique, also known as "Tapping," is a modality that incorporates modern psychology and Traditional Chinese Medicine to process and release difficult thoughts and emotions using acupressure points on the body. These embodied approaches helps bridge the mind-body gap, allowing for the release of muscular tension and physiological holding patterns that perpetuate anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms. It is a critical component for achieving authentic, sustainable emotional regulation and psychological freedom.
Faith based therapy
I hold a certification in Spiritually Integrated Therapy, which means that I incorporate the clients' personal spiritual beliefs into the session, whatever they may be. I have a background in both Christian Counseling and Metaphysical Spirituality depending on the client's preferences.
Polyvagal Therapy
I teach Vagal Toning techniques to strengthen the client's Vagus nerve in order to interrupt the Fight or Flight response and balance their nervous system so they feel more calm and at ease throughout their day and are more resilient to handle stress and trauma. These techniques are accomplished quickly and easily using the healing power of your own hands!
Jungian
I specialize in Jungian-informed Depth Psychology, offering a transformative approach to self-discovery and holistic healing. My practice integrates established clinical techniques with powerful symbolic and archetypal frameworks to help clients access their deepest potential. My Approach Includes: Shadow Work: I guide clients through the process of acknowledging, integrating, and harnessing the unconscious, disowned aspects of the self (the Shadow). This process liberates repressed energy, reduces self-sabotage, and fosters genuine wholeness. Anima/Animus Integration: We work to harmonize the inner feminine and masculine principles (Anima in men, Animus in women, and these energies in all genders). Achieving this internal balance is crucial for improving relationships, enhancing creativity, and strengthening the connection to the Self. Symbolic Systems for Insight: I utilize Tarot and Astrology as symbolic tools, not for fortune-telling, but as "mirrors" of the psyche and experiments in synchronicity. These systems offer rich, archetypal language to quickly externalize and clarify current psychological dynamics, aiding in the individuation journey. The Goal: To facilitate your Individuation—the lifelong process of becoming a unified, conscious, and complete self. Through this depth-oriented work, we move beyond symptom management to uncover the profound meaning and purpose guiding your life.
Attachment-based
I help the client to determine what their Attachment Style is and how to work towards a Secure Attachment style in their relationships with others, whether romantic, work related, friendships, or family. We also discuss what attachment style means in terms of how they relate to others and the origins of their attachment style.
