Your brain is exhausted from doing the absolute most: spiraling, overthinking, stressing about crap you can’t control. It’s time to shut down the chaos & start living. Therapy with me is equal parts hype woman/real talk. I'm a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in OCD, anxiety, trauma, and attachment. I believe healing happens in a space where you can feel fully human without judgement. Therapy should be a meaningful conversation, not just a clinical checklist. As a lifelong musician and artist, I also honor the power of creativity in the healing process, bringing curiosity, humor, and insight into our work.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Starting therapy can feel both exciting and overwhelming, so I aim to make our first session feel as comfortable and grounded as possible. We’ll begin with some introductions and talk about what brought you to therapy at this point in your life. I’ll ask questions to get to know you—your background, current challenges, and what goals or hopes you have for therapy. You can expect me to take things at your pace. If you’re not sure where to start, that’s okay! I’ll guide the conversation with curiosity and care. We’ll also talk about what therapy with me typically looks like, including my approach and how we might structure our work together. This is your space to ask questions, share concerns, and make sure the fit feels right for you. By the end of our first session, my goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and a little lighter for having shared your story. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of what therapy with me will be like and some next steps we can build on together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
If you’re looking for a therapist who will hype you up AND call you out, I’ve got you. I’ll hold space for the hard stuff, laugh at your dark humor, and keep it honest. No polished perfection required, just a willingness to show up as you are. I’ll meet you there.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are thoughtful, creative, and often carry a deep inner world that doesn’t always feel understood by others. Many of the people I work with describe themselves as “overthinkers,” “people-pleasers,” or “empaths” who want to stop spiraling, calm self-doubt, and feel steadier in their relationships. My approach is collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness & the mind/body connection. All fancy ways to say we are gonna dig deep and learn skills to back it up.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I worked at a CBT specific treatment center for OCD and Anxiety which included extensive training in CBT as well as CBT treatment with clients
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I worked at an IOP center where DBT was the top modality to treat depression, borderline personality disorder and SI
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I utilize ACT in my sessions through helping clients connect and identify with their values while managing difficult thoughts and feelings
Trauma Informed Care
I have extensive experience working with trauma in both community mental health and IOP settings
