I work with individuals to reach their goals from a relational, person-centered approach and trauma-informed lens, promoting an open-minded and empowering therapeutic space. I consistently integrate ACT and EMDR in my work and I am responsive to adjusting my approach to assist you in best meeting your goals Let's explore opportunities to build meaning and connection, navigate experiences of stress and complex emotions, and overcome personal and environmental barriers.
The first session is a chance for me to get to know you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll start by talking through what you’re hoping for, what has felt challenging, and what a supportive space looks like for you. Together, we’ll discuss your goals, your strengths, and any questions you may have about the therapy process. This is also a time to explore what approaches may be most helpful for you. There’s no pressure to share everything all at once—my goal is simply to create a safe, welcoming environment where you feel heard and understood as we begin your healing journey.
I am a therapist that holds space for humanity while also challenging oppressive beliefs and systems, appreciates experience over diagnosis, and supports creativity and difference. I am EMDR trained through EMDR Consulting offering me the benefit of a comprehensive approach. This ensures flexibility in treatment, enabling me to tailor interventions to meet clients' unique needs and safely contain challenging responses.
I offer a welcoming space for individuals navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, trauma, or simply seeking deeper meaning and connection. I especially enjoy working with people who value a collaborative, affirming, and creative approach to therapy. Whether you’re facing challenges in relationships, processing past experiences, or looking for tools to align your life with your values, I am here to support you.
EMDR helps the brain reprocess and release distressing experiences so they no longer feel overwhelming. This gentle, evidence-based approach can reduce triggers, enhance security, and create space for healing and resilience.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) supports people in making space for difficult thoughts and feelings while moving toward what matters most. Through mindfulness and values-based strategies, ACT helps build flexibility, resilience, and meaningful change.
