Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we will establish a trusting relationship and accept and support the way they are. The session is based on counseling, crisis intervention, skills in medication management, and interdisciplinary collaboration. My practice is unique because I am open and flexible regarding my patients. we have a great way of communicating with my clients regularly, which enhances a strong, trusting relationship with them. I am passionate about this work because together we can dive into the specific and common challenges of life you're facing. This will help to create a tailored plan for us to work through our follow-up sessions and lead to the path of recovery, and for me, a great deal of satisfaction.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress. Psychotherapy and medication are used in each session to strengthen self-esteem and build self-confidence, which you will feel at the end of each session. I grew up in a remote town in India, and my early life experiences helped me develop my beliefs, which include the selfless act of helping others.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with clients of all ages and different cultural and economic backgrounds. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the right tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious in their position at home or in the community. I can speak English and Hindi fluently. My dream client is a 25-year-old male or female struggling with life changes, including family disputes, career building, relationships, job/School performance difficulties, grief, or relocation challenges. He needs support and insight for their success.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

On your initial visit, I create an empathetic and positive therapeutic environment. I allow my clients to feel safe in their space so they will open up in discussing their concerns, and we can work together toward their goal. Helping my client recognize the problem and find different ways to bring the positive changes, supporting the way they choose to bring the changes in their lives. In each follow-up session, we re-evaluate their goals with positive feedback. I use short sessions of Psychotherapy (Examples: cognitive behavior therapy, motivational therapy, talk therapy) in combination with medication management to bring adherence and improve the results of the treatment plan.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Listen to my patient's concerns, together recognize the problem and the different ways to bring changes, and positive reinforcements and encouragement during the sessions.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Recognize the cultural differences and values of my clients and help them grow in a supportive environment by connecting them to appropriate resources in the community,
