LMFT, 9 years of experience
I am a faith-based therapist who is passionate about self-care and helping others heal through the hurt and pain of grief and loss. I believe we are all unique individuals who learn and process differently. This is why my approach to therapy is eclectic; I will pull from different evidence-based modalities to help create a plan that fits specifically for you. I have worked in the field of behavioral health for 15 years and as a therapist for over 7 years now. I’ve had the pleasure of working with clients who have experienced major life transitions (grief/loss, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, low self-esteem, and addiction). If you desire to see a change in your life, I can help you process through some of life’s most difficult transitions. You can feel safe with me in knowing that we will journey this road together; You are not alone.
In our first session together we will start with brief instructions, then dive into different challenges you are facing.
Person-Centered Therapy Solution Focused Therapy Grief Recovery Method
My specialty is in grief and loss. I've worked with individuals over the past 8 years who have felt stuck within the hurt and pain of grief and loss. After I experienced the sudden death of a parent I understood the depths of pain loss can have on an individual. A loss can come in many different forms such as, the death of a loved one, a breakup/divorce, loss of safety/trust and many others. Common symptoms of grief are a lack of energy, deep sadness, lack of concentration, and feelings of loneliness; you experience many emotions that effect your way of living when you are grieving. You often wonder if anyone knows how painful it really feels or wonder if the pain will ever go away. If any of this sounds familiar to you, then I'd love to help you on your healing journey.
