I am a licensed therapist with extensive experience working with individuals, children, teens, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, family conflict, and major life transitions. I bring patience, compassion, and strong communication skills to my work, prioritizing flexibility and adaptability to meet each client’s unique needs. My background includes significant exposure to crisis intervention as a member of a crisis intervention team, which strengthened my ability to remain calm and objective during periods of extreme stress. I thrive when supporting clients of all ages in processing emotions, building coping skills, and reducing symptoms related to everyday stressors. Together, we work to identify triggers, recognize warning signs, and prepare for challenges with effective strategies. I am trained in CBT, DBT, SFT, and trauma informed care approaches proven to be effective and always tailored to prioritize each client’s individual experience and the therapeutic relationship.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, my goal is to help you feel comfortable and supported. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking about what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll ask some questions about your history, current challenges, and goals, but you are always in control of what you choose to share. This session is also a chance for you to ask me questions, learn about my approach, and decide whether I feel like the right fit for you. By the end of our time, we’ll begin to outline a plan together, so you can leave the session with a sense of direction and hope.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach combines proven techniques like CBT, DBT, SFT, and trauma-informed care with a focus on each client’s individual experience. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to explore their emotions. Together, we work on reducing symptoms, learning coping strategies, and building resilience so that challenges feel more manageable. Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm, patient approach and the practical tools they can carry into daily life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with individuals, children, teens, and families who are navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, or experiences of trauma. I work well with clients who are motivated to gain insight, learn practical coping skills, and build resilience in their daily lives. My approach is particularly supportive for those experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, family conflict, or stress related to pregnancy, postpartum, loss, or infertility. I also support clients who have experienced childhood abuse, domestic violence, or other traumatic events. Clients who value a safe, compassionate, and structured therapeutic environment—where they feel heard and empowered often find my approach especially helpful in achieving their therapy goals.
