Bilingual licensed mental therapist with over 18 years of experience in the field; specializing in adolescents and adults. Earned a master's in clinical counseling from Messiah University and a master's in liberal studies from Alvernia University. Additionally, I completed a bachelor's degree in criminal justice studies. My career in the helping field started in 1999 when I worked at a youth detention center and refugee facility. Since then, I have gain experienced in various mental health settings, including outpatient therapy, multi-systemic therapy in homes/schools-with teens and their families, worked in a jail for two years as therapist, experience working with individuals suffering with psychotic disorders, as well as, worked with teen violence and with teens struggling with truancy. Throughout these experiences, my observations were focused on the lack of compassion and empathy there was in the field for individuals seeking help; this was my main motivator for starting my own practice-with the goal of providing people with the care they deserve.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will focus mainly on building rapport and trust, as well as, completing the required intake paperwork. No worries, my goal is to make sure my patients feel as comfortable as possible. I look forward to meeting with you!

I work with mainly adults who need support to make changes and grow. No matter what you are struggling with, we can work together and improve things. You may have been through difficult situations and circumstances, but I can meet you where you are and offer you the tools that you need to heal. In my work with individuals, multicultural counseling, CBT, solution-focused brief therapy, and other eclectic therapeutic approaches to support you in your journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My best work happens with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and intergenerational challenges. All that I have learned, lived through, and experienced is used to help those seeking relief. You may have been through difficult situations and circumstances, but I can meet you where you are and offer you the support that you need to heal and grow.
