Hey! I am a licensed therapist (LCSW) in New Jersey. I have been providing individual therapy for 6 years and working with adolescents and young adults for over 15 years. Before working in outpatient, I was a therapist at high school, providing group and individual therapy to adolescents. I help teens and young adults navigate difficult periods of transition in their life and relationships.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will take time getting to know each other and reviewing your goals and expectations for therapy. We may also get into some of the areas where you are struggling so that we can begin to formulate a plan moving forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with this population for greater than a decade, I believe that my greatest strength is relationship building and the ability to make people feel comfortable in sessions so that they are able to engage freely and honestly, while opening up about their challenges.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Using Solution Focused Brief Treatment I am able to help clients create a peaceful and fulfilling life by focusing on the future they see for themselves and pinpointing the emotional and behavioral patterns that create barriers to this life. Clients are then encouraged to explore their existing strengths and skills which can be cultivated and nourished to construct practical and sustainable solutions to these barriers. This treatment modality is ideal for people who are looking for a positive, future oriented approach.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy I am able to help clients recognize the interaction between their thoughts, feels and behaviors. This work is useful in determining core beliefs and experiences which may have informed a client's current beliefs about themselves and the world. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is evidence based and particularly effective with anxiety and mood disorders.
