I work with diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, and families. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues (lived experience), and trauma. I've practiced in a range of settings including community mental health, non-profit, and private practice. I am committed to creating a space of support, safety and collaboration. I currently see clients virtually throughout the state of Virginia.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with introductions, and then explore the challenges you are facing through an initial intake assessment. The intake process will help me get to know you as a whole person. We will develop goals for therapy and create a plan to achieve those goals that is unique to your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Knowing that many clients won't fit into a "one size fits all" approach, I incorporate various evidence-based approaches into treatment. I view therapy as a collaborative process, where you are the expert in your own life. We will work together to identify goals and explore and build upon your strengths so that you feel capable and confident to handle life's challenges.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are eager to make change but may be feeling stuck with the "how". They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, or big life changes.
