I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, license number MH10076, a qualified supervisor (for LMHC interns), with over 19 years of counseling experience, and a certified TF-CBT therapist. I have experience working with clients from age 5 to 70. I have worked with severe and persistently mentally ill adults, in addiction recovery, and I specialize in treating trauma, depression, and anxiety, as well as treating marriage and relationship issues. I take pride in living the life I encourage my clients to live. I embrace a mindful lifestyle and I work daily on holistic health and well-being. I utilize a professional-grade microphone and camera for my telehealth sessions. All telehealth sessions are conducted from a secure office and you are assured of complete privacy from my end.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is an assessment where I gather information for you regarding the issues you are experiencing. We develop a treatment plan or plan of action and I will give you a few things to work on before our next session. My sessions are laid back and I encourage you to act as though you are speaking with an old friend.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have been successfully helping others in a professional capacity for nearly 20 years. I have worked with people of all ages, from different walks of life, who have a myriad of issues that are holding them back from being their very best. I love helping couples and turning people on to mindful living. I love seeing an individual grow and thrive.

My treatment methods

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is living in the split second moment as often as possible. Utilization of mindfulness can reduce and even eliminate anxiety, some depression symptoms, as well as reduce or eliminate excess stress.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT utilizes a set of tools that allow us to regain control of our thoughts and emotions. It is very effective in managing intrusive thoughts, impulsive behaviors, and some mood disorder symptoms.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Systems therapy allows for a couple or family to work through issues that are holding them back as a unit.
