I truly believe that “Shame dies when stories are told in safe places.” I know you have a story, whatever it is that you are dealing with at the current moment, be it anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, imposter syndrome, relational issues, I know it comes with a story. It’s ok not to be ok at times. Further, do you think that you are a perfectionist? Do you have a hard time saying no? Have you been told you are too sensitive or that you care too much? Are you compulsively taking responsibility for the needs of others? Do you find yourself always being the caretaker? To the point that it mentally and physically starts affecting your day to day life? Have you become more isolated or are you relying on substances to help you calm down and cope? If the answer to any of the above is YES, I want you to consider that your sensitivity is a gift perhaps disguised in burnout, anxiety, substance use, depression and other physical and emotional distresses. You do have the right to be taken care of, to be listened to, to be thought worthy of attention. Your all-encompassing dutifulness got you here. You are not broken, but the world we live in is. Our ability to heal, depends on the stories we tell ourselves about who we are. We all have self-talk and intrusive thoughts, the degree varies. We all have unresolved issues from the past. No one is perfect but today's society and social media definitely make it seem that way. I want you to know you are not alone. Trauma happens in separation, healing occurs in relation. I am here to offer you that relation.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will get to know each other, gather some information, dive into what is bringing you in, and what are the primary stressors in your life. We will then collaborate together and come up with a comprehensive therapeutic treatment plan to help achieve your long term goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

l will strive to see the world through your lens. My slogan is to "Believe in Yourself" and that comes from my deep trust in every client’s inner healing intelligence! My areas of specialty include Anxiety Disorders, Burnout, Codependency, self esteem, and Substance Abuse treatment. I love working with high functioning, high achieving individuals who are usually perfectionists and I also have a passion for working with Highly Sensitive People (HSP). I would love to hear your story and help you navigate that inner healing intelligence.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using CBT for the past 10 years and have seen how effective it could be if done collaboratively with clients in treating an array of mental health disorders.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Over the past three years I have incorporated ACT into my treatment plans when treating anxiety, depression, and relational issues. I have witnessed some great results with incorporating ACT in management and improvement of anxiety symptoms, depressive symptoms, and relational issues.
