I love working with clients who are dedicated and ready to be honest and take responsibility for their role in their lives. My therapeutic style is anti-therapist-y (more relaxed and less like traditional therapy). I want our conversations to feel like you're talking to a skilled friend. My approach is tailored to your needs and what will best support you. I am especially passionate about creating a space for exploration and healing for people of color and those with intersectional and marginalized identities.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, you can expect a welcoming and open environment where we begin building a trusting and collaborative relationship. We'll discuss your background, current concerns, and goals for therapy. This session is an opportunity for you to share your story and for me to understand your unique needs. Together, we'll start to outline a personalized plan that will guide our work together, ensuring that our approach aligns with what will best support you on your journey toward healing and growth.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength lies in my ability to understand and sometimes relate to my clients. I provide a non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable and at ease. I aim to ensure our sessions are engaging and dynamic, while also being intentional and goal-oriented as we work together on your journey toward healing and growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I highly value utilizing a relational approach to therapy, and building a trusting collaboration with my clients in which we partner together in helping you to heal from unresolved past trauma, depression, anxiety, attachment issues and/or grief & loss. I find there’s no one size fits all approach and seek to connect to clients through increasing emotional intelligence and emotional regulation through mindfulness, boundary work, and creative interventions.
