Are you going through a transition in life? Maybe you are seeking further education in a career or trying to seek insight into the age old question "What do I want to be when I grow up?" If you feel stuck, depressed or anxious at the thought of the previous question, I am your person. I am most often described as "passionate". I put my whole being into every decision I make. I believe that steady hard work always has a positive pay out in the end. Sometimes the big picture can be overwhelming and daunting, I break life down into manageable and realistic steps. The most important aspect of the process is understanding that you have choices in life. Nothing ever needs to be set in stone. If you don't like something, you can change it. And you can change it until it is right for you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I want to learn about what makes life valuable for you. What makes you tick or maybe trying to find what makes you tick is what is needed? Exploring those areas are important. Our first session will be learning about you as a whole such as daily living routines, interests, supports, career, education etc. We will then formulate a goal that makes sense for you. In our follow up sessions, we will be reviewing that goal to keep us on track, or maybe help us change the track if necessary.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I pull from several classic therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Client Centered Therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have had extensive training and education surrounding trauma and how that can impact a person in their educational and career path. I can help you understand where that trauma is playing out in your daily life and how to push past those barriers in an uncomplicated and supportive model.
