Hi there! I am a Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner board certified (PMHNP-BC) in Massachusetts. I received my Master's from Regis College and have been practicing for over 2 years. My area of expertise includes but is not limited to the treatment of ADHD, Alcohol use disorder, schizophrenia, Trauma & PTSD, Mood disorders like Anxiety, depression, and Bipolar.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first appointment, we will start with a brief introduction. Patients can expect a comprehensive review encompassing their past and present illnesses, a detailed biopsychosocial assessment, evaluations of past medication trials, including their effectiveness, and a discussion of the patient’s treatment goals. This thorough evaluation also includes considering the patient’s history of psychiatric treatments, enabling us to tailor a care plan that aligns with their journey toward mental wellness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in various behavioral health centers, I utilize motivational interviewing techniques to gain a deep understanding of each patient’s condition, ensuring a personalized approach to treatment. Our therapeutic methods place a strong emphasis on patient empowerment. This holistic approach is designed to help patients function at their fullest potential, addressing their unique needs and challenges.

My treatment methods

Psychoeducation

At Rhema Psychiatric Services LLC, we utilize psychoeducation by combining aspects of cognitive-behavior therapy, and patient education regarding specific mental disorders. The goal is to provide the patient with knowledge about their symptoms and treatment options to enable them to work with mental health professionals for overall wellness and better outcomes.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

At Rhema Psychiatric Services, we practice mindfulness by observing our thoughts and being in the present moment non-judgementally.

Supportive

The team at Rhema Psychiatric Services utilizes supportive therapy along with behavioral rehearsal, role-playing, relaxation, and talk therapy to help patients reach their treatment goals
