You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, sadness, past trauma, or major life changes, and unsure where to turn for support. For many women, children, and adolescents, these experiences can feel even more complex when cultural identity, family expectations, or systemic stressors are involved. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working in the mental health field, supporting adolescents and adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I offer a warm, supportive, and culturally responsive space where you can feel safe sharing your story at your own pace, without judgment or pressure. In our work together, we focus on building practical coping tools, strengthening emotional resilience, and helping you gain greater clarity, confidence, and balance in your daily life. My approach integrates evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques, while honoring each client’s unique lived experience and background. I believe in meeting you where you are, recognizing your strengths, and empowering you to create meaningful, sustainable change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to support you in feeling more grounded, understood, and capable of moving forward in a way that feels authentic to you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and we’ll take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you. In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you in and what you’d like support with. I’ll ask a few gentle questions to better understand what’s been going on and how it’s been affecting your daily life and/or relationships. This is a supportive, judgment-free conversation, and by the end of the session we’ll identify a few initial goals and decide how we can move forward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am an empathetic, client-centered, insightful, and adaptable therapist who collaborates effectively.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m a good fit for you if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted and want support that feels warm, practical, and non-judgmental. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions, and I support clients who want to build coping skills, strengthen boundaries, and move forward with greater confidence and balance.

Trauma Informed Care

My work is grounded in trauma-informed, strengths-based therapy. I have over 15 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults in community mental health and clinical settings, where I’ve worked with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. In my practice, I use trauma-informed principles to help clients understand how past experiences may be impacting their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors today. I focus on creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel empowered, respected, and in control of their healing process. Sessions are tailored to each person’s needs and may include building coping skills, increasing emotional awareness, strengthening boundaries, and developing healthier ways to respond to stress. I integrate practical tools with reflection and insight, helping clients process difficult experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable. My goal is to support clients in developing resilience, confidence, and clarity so they can move forward feeling more grounded and in control of their lives.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed and strengths-based, shaped by over 15 years of experience working in community mental health and clinical settings. I have supported adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions, and I understand how past experiences can continue to impact emotional well-being, behavior, and relationships.
