About me

Hi! I'm a licensed clinical social worker who wants to help you have a more vibrant, full life by addressing the barriers holding you back, whether that's anxiety, a trauma history, or feeling stuck in a mind that is never quiet. I'll help you get into your life and experience more connection, freedom, and joy. Together, we will unpack difficult thoughts and emotions with compassion and curiosity and help you be the person you want to be.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, we will start understanding what brought you to therapy; we might get into some history at times, but the bulk of the first session will be understanding where you are now and where you want to go. Then we can make a plan for how our work together can get you there.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I will meet you where you are with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. Your mind and its emotions and thoughts make sense! I want to help you approach yourself with compassion and curiosity as well. Real change happens then.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Do you feel successful on the outside, but on the verge of burnout or collapse on the inside? You might feel like you work really hard to get through each day and there has to be more to life than this. Your mind is always going, you're on the brink of overwhelm, and no one knows how much you're struggling. I'm here to help you feel less alone and feel more in control.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

With ACT, I can help you work with your history, your patterns, and your thoughts and emotions in order to live the life you have always wanted. And if you aren't sure what that life is, we can work together to figure that out too.

Relational

How we interact in relationships often comes into the therapy room. I will work to draw our attention to the present moment together so that you can practice new ways of communicating that will be helpful in all your relationships.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

With DBT, I can help you learn skills to regulate your body and get in control when feeling intense emotions. We can work together to help you connect with your inner wisdom and be more grounded in your reactions.
