New to Grow
As a queer, neurodivergent, and non-binary therapist, I aim to be a resource for my community. However, I enjoy helping people from all walks of life navigate relationships, sex, and intimacy, and their mental health. My communication style is centered on self-acceptance, warmth, and humor. I am an active listener and am non-judgmental in my approach. I welcome and hold space for all emotional states. I am also an active participant in the dialogue of the sessions. I am also a working artist and an optimist.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In the first session, I facilitate a conversational style that fits your comfort level. I understand it can be daunting to share your vulnerabilities with a stranger, so I am practiced in creating an environment and pace that feels affirming.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My goal and experience is that my clients feel safe to be themselves in my sessions. I am careful to intentionally cultivate attunement so that my clients can feel connected to all parts of themselves throughout treatment. My methods include IFS parts work, psychodynamic approaches, and, most importantly, are trauma-informed.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am interested in supporting anyone who feels a yearning for self-acceptance. I specialize in helping those in the trans, queer, and polyamorous communities, and I am kink-affirming and sex-positive. I also have a specialization in helping Autistic, ADHD, or AuDHD adults live full, rich, and meaningful lives.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I use IFS as a resource for increasing a sense of self-compassion and self-understanding to help my clients thrive.
