About me

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of mental health challenges, including serious mental illness (SMI), trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. My approach is grounded in empathy, open-mindedness, and deep respect for your lived experience. Having worked as a Director in community mental health, I understand the structural barriers clients face, and how to work with (or around) them to help you access meaningful care and find healing even in the most challenging situations. I tailor therapy to fit your needs, drawing from evidence-based practices while honoring your unique goals and pace. In our work together, you'll find a nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported—whether you're working toward stability, insight, or meaningful change. Let’s work together to move toward the life you want—on your terms.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what brings you to therapy now. You can expect: A welcoming, judgment-free space where you can share at your own pace Time to explore what’s been going on, including any challenges, symptoms, or stressors you're facing A chance to talk about your hopes for therapy, even if you’re not exactly sure what those are yet (that’s okay!) An opportunity to ask questions about how I work and what therapy with me looks like I’ll also gather some background information to better understand your history, support system, and any services you’re connected with. But more than anything, I want you to feel safe, heard, and supported. There’s no pressure to dive into everything at once—we go at your pace. The first session is the beginning of a collaborative working relationship, and together we’ll figure out what the path forward can look like.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my key strengths is my ability to meet clients exactly where they are, without judgment, pressure, or expectation. I bring a calm, grounded, and empathetic presence that helps people feel safe. I help clients reclaim their identity, voice, and power. I take a strengths-based, recovery-oriented approach, focusing on your capacity for growth and resilience. I lean into deep listening and collaboration, helping clients reconnect with their goals, values, and sense of self. I prioritize building real, respectful relationships. Whether you’re working toward stability, recovery, or rediscovery, my approach is about walking through it with you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to support adults who are navigating complex mental health challenges—whether that means living with a serious mental illness, managing co-occurring conditions, or dealing with the emotional weight of chronic stress, trauma, or life transitions. I also work to foster healthy and positive relationships with self and partnerships with focuses on self-esteem, intimacy/sex, and body-positivity. Many of the clients I work with have: Struggled to have healthy relationships with others, feeling understood in partnership, as well as challenges with self-esteem, and intimacy. Many of the clients I have worked with have had experiences with domestic violence, mental health challenges, difficulty navigating interpersonal relationships and challenges in building healthy relationships both with others and/or themselves. I’m here to offer support to my clients that is rooted in respect, patience, and evidence-informed care tailored to you and your needs.
