New to Grow
I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for adults, veterans, and military families navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and stress. My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, creating a safe space to explore challenges and build resilience. Together, we focus on strengthening insight, restoring balance, and supporting meaningful growth. Clients describe me as being relatable, compassionate, and a great listener with a unique ability to identify underlying issues.
During our first session, we will review your presenting concerns, relevant history, and therapy goals to establish a clear understanding of your needs. I will explain my therapeutic approach, answer any questions you may have, and help you determine whether my style is a good fit for you. If we agree to continue working together, we will then collaborate to develop an individualized treatment plan. This session is designed to set the foundation for a supportive and goal-oriented therapeutic process.
I take a humanistic, client-centered approach, creating a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen and understood. My methods are tailored to each person’s unique experiences, values, and goals, combining evidence-based techniques with a collaborative, open-minded perspective. This approach helps clients explore their emotions, build insight, and develop practical strategies for growth, empowering them to tap into their strengths and make meaningful, lasting change at their own pace.
I am best positioned to serve adults, veterans, and military families who are navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, or the ongoing effects of stress and adjustment challenges. I work well with clients who are ready to better understand their experiences, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change in their lives. Whether you’re seeking relief from past trauma or striving for greater balance and clarity, I provide a supportive, goal-focused space to help you move forward with confidence and resilience.
If you’re navigating life’s transitions, facing anxiety or trauma, or dealing with the unique pressures of military service or family life, you don’t have to do it alone. I have extensive experience working with veterans and military families, as well as with adults who are managing stress, adjustment issues, and emotional pain. My goal is to meet you where you are—with respect, understanding, and a safe space to explore what’s happening inside and around you.
I have specialized experience using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy with veterans and individuals coping with PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. Through EMDR, I help clients process distressing memories, reduce emotional intensity, and build resilience in a supportive and grounded environment. Whether the trauma stems from combat, service-related experiences, or other life events, my focus is on helping clients regain a sense of safety, balance, and empowerment in their lives.
I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore their own motivations for change in a supportive, nonjudgmental way. This collaborative approach empowers individuals to clarify their values, strengthen their confidence, and make meaningful progress toward personal goals. Whether addressing trauma recovery, lifestyle changes, or emotional challenges, MI allows clients to tap into their inner strengths and move forward at a pace that feels right for them.
I incorporate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify their strengths, resources, and the small, meaningful steps that lead to lasting change. This approach centers on what’s working, rather than what’s wrong, and supports clients in building practical solutions that align with their goals and values. Whether navigating transitions, managing stress, or healing from trauma, SFBT helps clients move forward with clarity, confidence, and hope.
