(she/they)
Hi! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) from the state of Ohio. I earned my masters degree at Case Western Reserve University in 2021, and have been practicing since! I help a variety of adults with diverse identities navigate through their journey of mental health recovery and self exploration. I always take a non-judgmental approach and work with clients where they are at.
In our first session together, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and in control of your own story. While there are a few basic “get to know you” questions I’ll need to ask—like background information and what brings you to therapy—I want you to feel empowered to guide the pace and direction of our time. This session is really about beginning to build a connection and helping you feel as comfortable as possible. There’s no pressure to share everything right away. Whether you’re ready to dive in or prefer to take it slow, we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. I believe that healing starts with trust, and trust takes time—so we’ll focus on getting to know each other in a way that feels natural and supportive to you.
As both a member of and an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, I bring a unique blend of lived and professional experience to the work I do. This dual perspective allows me to approach therapy with greater empathy, cultural awareness, and insight into the diverse challenges and strengths within the community. It’s important to me that each client feels truly seen, respected, and valued for who they are. My goal is to create a warm, inclusive, and affirming space—no matter where you are in your journey. Whether you’re exploring your identity, navigating relationships, or facing mental health challenges, you’ll find a nonjudgmental and supportive environment the moment you enter my (virtual) door. You deserve to feel safe and empowered in therapy, and I’m here to help make that happen.
I am deeply passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ adults as they navigate the complexities of identity, relationships, and personal growth. Whether you’re in the early stages of exploring your gender or sexual identity, or seeking continued support in living authentically, I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you on that journey. My approach is warm, respectful, and grounded in cultural humility, and I strive to honor each person’s unique story and experience. In addition, I have extensive experience working with adults living with severe mental illness (SMI), including conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression. I understand how overwhelming and isolating these challenges can feel, and I’m committed to helping clients build stability, improve daily functioning, and reconnect with their strengths. My work is informed by compassion, clinical expertise, and a belief in each person’s resilience and capacity for meaningful change.
