I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with specialized training and certifications in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), infused with Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ego States, and Somatic Therapies. With a deep passion for helping individuals heal from complex trauma, anxiety, OCD, and phobias, I am dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing space for your journey towards healing and growth.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I work towards meeting clients with compassion, curiosity, and openness. Trust and felt safety are important components of the counseling relationship. In your first session, we'll explore the reasons that are bringing you to therapy and decide which areas to focus on first. We will work together to identify goals for therapy, and spend time getting to know each other.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In our sessions, we will work collaboratively to explore the root causes of your challenges and develop effective coping strategies to promote healing and resilience. Through EMDR therapy, we can address past traumas and negative beliefs that may be holding you back, allowing you to experience greater freedom and empowerment.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Are you a busy professional, college student, young adult, and/or parent trying to do it all? Do you feel that past or current events are causing distress in your professional, personal, and/or relational life? You know you are capable, but you feel stuck. You feel ready to work through the struggle and work towards healing to have a more hopeful and healthy future. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, feeling irritable, trouble sleeping, anger outbursts, low energy, hypervigilance, or anything else - I will come along side you on your healing journey.

My treatment methods

EMDR

In our sessions, we will work collaboratively to explore the root causes of your challenges and develop effective coping strategies to promote healing and resilience. Through EMDR therapy, we can address past traumas and negative beliefs that may be holding you back, allowing you to experience greater freedom and empowerment. I also incorporate elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ego States, and Somatic Therapies to help you cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself and your internal dynamics. By connecting with different parts of yourself and exploring how past experiences have shaped your present, you can cultivate greater self-compassion and self-awareness.

Attachment-based

Part of conceptualizing your case, is exploring your early attachments with caregivers - this analyzation helps to build understanding of current symptomology.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Whether you struggle with overwhelming anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or debilitating phobias, I offer evidence-based therapies tailored to your unique needs, specifically I-CBT for OCD. Together, we will develop effective coping strategies and tools to manage symptoms and reclaim your life.
