I am a telehealth therapist. This means I conduct counseling sessions via video conferencing where I interact with my clients in realtime. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is very passionate about helping the people I work with. I am direct yet empathic and nonjudgmental. I am compassionate and will encourage you to be curious about yourself and become more self aware. We will work together on building coping strategies for healthier living. Seeking help can be intimidating but the results can be profound, even life changing!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first sessions will focus on understanding the struggles you are having and how they impact your well-being. I will tailor my approach to you as an individual and focus on techniques that will help you navigate through those difficulties more successfully, help you feel more relaxed, challenge negative thought patterns, and organize self-care. Our goal will be to learn healthy coping that lead to lasting well-being. If you feel like I may be the right fit for you, I encourage you to reach out. It would be my privilege to help guide and support you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe feeling connected to a therapist is one of the highest predictors of success in therapy. My communication style is direct with a discerning touch of humor. I take my time to get to know my clients and start where they want to start. Staying at a pace that is comfortable for you is very important to me. I'm an online therapist so I can meet you exactly where you are, exactly how you are. Reserve time for yourself and together we will explore your challenges with curiosity and non-judgement. Our goal will be to learn healthy coping that lead to lasting well-being.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

I have over 22 years experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, behavioral and relationship issues. My goal is to help help individuals gain insight into their feelings and behaviors, as well as gain the skills needed to foster change and personal growth.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This has helped my clients challenge negative and irrational thinking. Clients have been able to have a healthier thought life by learning to control their thoughts more. Thoughts will impact our feelings, so this is a very important aspect of overall well being.
