I am a dual Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse practitioner with ample experience working in health care. I have a special interest in the overlap of mental and physical health. Becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner is my fourth career. I am a medical doctor from another country and after being re-inserted into the United States health system as a registered nurse and, subsequently, a family nurse practitioner, I had the opportunity to take care of and treat several people with mental health needs. I consider myself a holistic provider and aim to provide integrated care when appropriate. I can deliver comprehensive, compassionate care to clients of all ages who present with a variety of symptoms and psychiatric needs. I am bilingual in English and Spanish.

I am compassionate, responsible, and skilled at delivering safe, evidence-based treatment. My goal as a provider is to create a therapeutic and trusting relationship with my patients in a setting that is both convenient and safe.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I can conduct initial evaluations, medication management, and cognitive behavioral therapy as well as problem-focused brief psychotherapy.

I provide care across the lifespan to patients afflicted with different mental health conditions, including Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar disorder, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and Psychosis
