Thank you for your interest in working with me. I have been providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families since 2007. Educated at Antioch University, Los Angeles, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a range of settings. My approach is solution-focused using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques with a client-centered approach considering cultural, social, and psychosocial influences. I believe you are the expert in your life and together we can work to improve your functioning using your strengths. I look forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first appointment, we will review current symptoms, how they are effecting your daily functioning and relationsips, any pertinent mental health and medical history that may be impacting your symptoms, and ultimately getting a broad overview of your daily life. This is a critical time for us to see if we are a good, clinical fit for future appointments.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am honest with my patients and often will address things in session as they come up. For example, behavioral or cognitive patterns, inconsistencies, etc. I like to be an active participant.

Christian Counseling

For some, having a faith-based counselor and treatment plan can help them focus on their spirituality as well as their behavioral needs. Taking a Christian approach, I am able to integrate biblical wisdom into a person's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as well as insight introspection from a biblical perspective.

Strength-Based
