My name is Kendra and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania with experience providing individual and group therapy. Since graduating with my Masters of Social Work in 2010, I have worked in a variety of settings. These settings have included traditional outpatient clinics, schools, inpatient psychiatric hospital, and in a primary care clinic. I have primarily worked with individuals diagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, sleep behavior problems, grief/loss, adjustment disorders, as well as seasonal affective disorder . Many of my clients struggle with negative thoughts, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and stress management.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we will begin with introductions as well as provide you space to discuss what brings you to therapy and begin to dive into the goals and expectations you have. I will also provide ample time for you to ask any questions that you may have for myself as well as the therapeutic process.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Having work with a wide variety of ages and diagnosis, I have developed the ability to truly meet the person that is sitting with me where they are at. When the person in front of me feels heard, valued, and confident in our ability to tackle the reason they are here together, progress can be made.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I enjoy working with a variety of ages and diagnosis. When somebody enters therapy, it shows that they are ready to work on themselves and some of the areas that they are struggling with.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT as a way to help clients work through their core beliefs and how those core beliefs impact the way they respond and react to situations in the present.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I utilize solution focused brief treatment as a way to work on what is happening in the present. This is meant to be a brief treatment modality.
Grief Therapy
Grief is experienced individually and needs to be treated as such. Each person experiences grief uniquely to them and the situation. I help guide those experiencing grief through the emotions that often come with grieving.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-Based therapy is the first step when working through anxiety as well as depression. When the person becomes aware of their present and able to bring themselves back to the present, they are taking back control of their anxiety.

Kendra has been a great fit for my needs. It was easy to open up from the first session and I feel like I can speak freely about what's going on in my life and how I'm feeling. She gives great feedback and never makes me feel judged or rushed to get off a session.

Kendra was absolutely lovely! It was so easy to talk with her and felt more like talking to a friend. This is my first experience with therapy and she made it less scary and very conversational.
