I am a compassionate therapist who uses a blend of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and REBT, to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work with individuals and couples to build coping skills, improve communication, and create meaningful change. My approach is friendly, supportive, and solution-focused, providing education and guidance to help clients feel heard, empowered, and motivated to achieve their goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session with me, we’ll explore your goals and desires, whether individually or as a couple. I’ll share how I can support you and work with you to achieve these goals. By the end of the session, we’ll create a treatment plan—a clear list of goals that will guide our work together, helping each session build on the last and allowing us to make meaningful, progressive changes over time.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the emphasis on creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel truly heard and understood. Many of my clients have shared that this comfort helps them feel hopeful and less alone. I guide clients in exploring unresolved issues while also teaching practical skills and strategies. I focus on encouragement, solution-oriented methods, and psychoeducation—helping clients understand their experiences, apply what they learn, and make meaningful progress toward their goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with clients who want to understand their thought processes and gain insight into why they think and feel the way they do. I also work with couples who are willing to put in effort to try strategies that improve communication, understanding, and self-reflection. Together, we identify unresolved experiences, enhance emotional coping, and cultivate a healthier, more peaceful sense of self.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In therapy, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts affect your feelings and behaviors. Together, we’ll explore patterns in your thinking, identify unhelpful or distorted thoughts, and work on replacing them with healthier, more balanced ways of thinking. This approach can help you better manage your emotions, respond to challenges more effectively, and develop practical strategies for creating positive changes in your life.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I use Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients increase awareness of their emotions and build confidence in accepting, expressing, regulating, reflecting on, and reshaping them. This process supports healthier responses, strengthens emotional connection and reliance, and improves communication to enhance understanding between partners, fostering more positive interactions and desired behaviors in challenging situations.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

I like to use Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) in specific phases of therapy to help clients develop Unconditional Self-Acceptance and enhance self-love. Together, we identify self-defeating thoughts, challenge patterns of irrational or unproductive beliefs, and replace them with healthier, more constructive ways of thinking that support positive emotions and behaviors.

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)

As a therapist, I find it beneficial to integrate multiple interventions. Using AEDP, I guide clients to explore and process deeper emotions underlying automatic thoughts and behaviors, helping them reflect on past experiences and learn from them to create healthier outcomes in the future.

Attachment-based

I integrate attachment-based approaches with other therapeutic methods to help clients identify underlying experiences that influence their current behaviors and relationship patterns. This work uncovers the roots of attachment difficulties in friendships, partnerships, and other relationships, supporting greater understanding, connection, and healthier relational dynamics.
