New to Grow
Hi, I’m Jacquie Witsberger, and I’ve spent over 34 years helping people find stability, healing, and hope. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT to help clients understand their patterns, manage emotions, and build a life that feels more balanced and meaningful. My approach is genuine and collaborative—I meet you where you are, and together we work toward real change that lasts.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you—what’s been happening in your life, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to change or understand better. We’ll talk about your goals, your story, and what’s been getting in the way of feeling like yourself. I’ll explain how therapy works, answer any questions you have, and begin identifying the patterns and strengths that will guide our work together. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the process ahead.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What makes my approach unique is the breadth of experience I bring to each session. With over 34 years in the field, I’ve worked with individuals and families across all age groups and in every level of care—from inpatient and residential programs to community-based and outpatient therapy. Holding independent supervision licensure in counseling as well as being a licensed social worker, I bring both clinical expertise and a down-to-earth, compassionate perspective. My clients benefit from a therapy experience that is structured, supportive, and grounded in proven methods—yet always personalized to their individual needs and goals.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with individuals who are ready to understand themselves more deeply and begin making real changes in how they think, feel, and respond to life. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, past trauma, or mood instability and are tired of feeling stuck in old patterns. They want to feel more balanced, confident, and in control of their emotions—but they also need a therapist who understands how hard that process can be. I help clients who are motivated for growth, even if they’re unsure where to start, learn the skills and insight needed to create genuine, lasting change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients recognize patterns in their thoughts and emotions, develop healthier coping responses, and build emotional balance. My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative, focusing on practical, evidence-based strategies that empower clients to manage stress, improve relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.
