Hi there, I'm Abby. Are you constantly feeling like you're in the eye of a storm, with life's challenges pulling you in all directions? Is balancing your relationships, work, and personal well-being becoming increasingly difficult? Do you find it hard to give yourself the kindness and care you deserve? I guide people battling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, insomnia, stress, and anger toward achieving a better quality of life. Together, we'll identify the aspects of your life that are causing distress and help set you back on the path toward balance. Our approach will be holistic, focusing on the needs of your mind, body, and spirit. I incorporate mindfulness practices to help you form a stronger connection with yourself. Whether you're dealing with overwhelming situations, relationship challenges, or repeated cycles of mental health conditions, I am here to support you. Everyone deserves a safe space where they can heal and grow. As part of our journey, we will undertake psychiatric evaluations and explore psychopharmacological options if needed. During our sessions, I will meet you with an understanding and utilize evidence-based techniques to help you overcome the hurdles and habits that have been standing in your way. Let's set forth on this path to transformation together!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I offer easy and flexible online scheduling, allowing patients to book appointments at their convenience without hassle. Prior to their visit, patients receive thorough, user-friendly intake paperwork that captures not just their medical history, but also their lifestyle, goals, and personal challenges. This allows me to understand their unique needs even before we meet, ensuring that our first session is both productive and personalized. I maintain open communication channels, so patients feel supported and informed every step of the way, reducing anxiety and building trust before we even begin our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of the cornerstones of my practice and an area where I specialize in conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations. These evaluations are a critical first step in understanding your unique circumstances, challenges, and needs. They allow me to gain a deep insight into your mental health, which forms the basis for devising an individualized treatment plan that will best suit you. A psychiatric evaluation involves a series of detailed questions about your symptoms, personal and family medical history, lifestyle, and other factors. This helps me to form a holistic view of your situation and accurately diagnose any mental health conditions you may be experiencing. It's important to remember that these evaluations are a collaborative process. Your active participation and openness during these sessions are vital. I encourage you to share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns freely. This aids in establishing a strong therapeutic relationship, essential for successful treatment. Following the evaluation, I'll work with you to design an individualized treatment plan. This plan may include components such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), medication (pharmacotherapy), mindfulness and stress management techniques, lifestyle modifications, or telepsychiatry services, among others. The primary goal is to create a plan that not only aligns with your specific needs but also considers your comfort and preferences, ultimately leading to improved mental health and a better quality of life. Your treatment plan will be dynamic, adapting and changing as necessary in response to your progress and any new challenges that may arise. Please rest assured that every step of the way, we will be working together. Your mental health journey is a shared responsibility, and I am here to support, guide, and work with you to the best of my ability.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

1. Anxiety & Depression (General Population) Patients experience low motivation, persistent worry, and racing thoughts that interfere with sleep, appetite, and relationships. Many feel emotionally numb, disconnected from joy, and consumed by self-doubt or imposter syndrome. 2. Professionals with ADHD These individuals often struggle with executive dysfunction—task paralysis, procrastination, forgetfulness, and impulsivity. Their symptoms can lead to poor work performance, strained relationships, and a persistent internal belief that something is wrong with them. 3. Perinatal Women & Mothers These women face identity struggles, guilt, and emotional disconnection during pregnancy or early motherhood. They often feel overwhelmed, unsupported, and unsure if they’re “doing enough,” all while navigating physical exhaustion and relationship stress.
