Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana and have around 11 years of experience in the field. I graduated with my Masters Degree in Social Work from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and my Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Ball State University. I treat a wide variety of mental health issues, including things such as depression, anxiety, grief, perinatal mental health issues, substance use disorder, personality disorder, and more.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session, I will focus on getting to know you and understanding more about the specific challenges you are facing and have faced in the past. I will obtain information about your previous diagnoses and treatment history and work to develop better insight into your treatment objectives. This will allow us to work together to develop an individualized plan to address your goals and needs.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Having worked in the field for the last 11 years, I have developed a wide range of knowledge and insight into a multitude of mental health concerns. I utilize therapy sessions to provide empathetic listening and really work to understand your individual challenges so that your treatment can be tailored directly to your needs. I have a deep understanding of the challenges that mental health concerns can have on every day life and I have a passion for helping people overcome these challenges and develop effective coping mechanisms so they can live their best lives.
