Denise Pertuz serves the state of New Jersey and Florida. She obtained her first master’s in social work from Rutgers State University and her second in child advocacy and policy from Montclair State University. She has extensive experience providing individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults as well as experience facilitating group therapy. Denise also conducts immigration/psychological evaluations.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I complete ongoing certifications in telehealth services and training on the effects of stress and trauma on the brain and memory, substance use disorders, attachment issues, and how these impact behaviors in adulthood.

As an immigrant from Colombia, South America, I value the opportunity to serve a diverse population and receive ongoing training to provide quality care, support, and guidance by implementing best practices in a safe and compassionate manner.
