Hello. I am an LCSW in Texas with 7 years of experience as a therapist. I have worked with everyone from age 3+. I primarily use DBT and EMDR, and The Daring Way curriculum with my clients treating everything from anxiety, depression, PTSD, women's issues, and more. I have a very gentle approach to therapy leaving the clients in control of the work we do. I believ everyone can benefit from therapy and the key is individualizing it to fit your needs. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will spend some time going over what you need in a therapist and what I can offer. Being in therapy is vulnerable and I want to make sure we are a good fit. The first session will also cover basic things like scheduling and availability, technology requirements, and address any concerns you may have. The first session is a ‘get to know you’ meeting.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with children and adults, I am a great therapist for those who want to explore their inner child and heal from past experiences. I love existential work and we will examine the meaning of your life through evidence-based work.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I have 7 years of experience treating children, teens, and adults for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and more with EMDR. Using EMDR helps clients let go of the past and be able to move forward without all of the stress from the trauma. We can do EMDR many different ways to help you feel your best.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have 7 years of experience teaching DBT skills to help clients manage daily stressors and major life events. DBT is a great tool for teaching you skills to start feeling better today. DBT focuses on helping you right now do better with managing stress, anxiety, dealing with others. We will use DBT in conjunction with other treatments to help you work on short-term and long-term goals.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is another tool we can use to help you move on from past traumas. It is a great way for us to explore your past without getting stuck in it.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have years of experience working with clients who have one or two goals for therapy. We don't have to explore every aspect of your life for you to get the benefits of therapy. Using SFBT, we focus on what you need in the moment so you can get back to living your life.
