LMFT, 5 years of experience
New to Grow
Welcome, I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Northern California. I earned my Master's degree from the University of San Francisco and have over five years of experience providing therapy in community-based mental health settings. As a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I offer services in both English and Spanish. I have experience working with teens, young adults, and families , and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive space where client's feel heard and understood. My goal is to walk alongside you as we explore challenges, build on strengths, and support your growth and healing.
In our first session, we will take time to get to know each other, discuss confidentiality, and talk about your unique needs and goals. This helps us start building trust and ensures that my style and approach feel like a good fit for you.
My approach is warm, understanding, and collaborative. I focus on creating a safe and supportive space where you can share openly without judgment. I draw from approaches like CBT, attachment-based therapy and trauma-informed care, always tailoring our work to your unique needs.
I specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults who feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression, or life transitions.
I use an attachment-based approach by focusing on how early relationships shape current patterns of connection and regulation. I work to provide a secure therapeutic relationship and help client's build healthier, more adaptive ways of relating to others.
I use CBT to help client's identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts while increasing awareness of how those thoughts, feelings and behaviors interact. We then work together to develop and practice more adaptive coping and problem-solving skills.
