What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The initial visit is usually long as we emphasis on creating a mutual therapeutic relationship and trust. I will actively listen to your concerns and empathize with you. At the end of the initial visit, the client should feel as though they have an advocate for their mental health, a sense of empowerment, like they were heard and validated and that they have a safe environment to work through whatsoever is needed. Therapeutic treatment and goals will be formulated, and discussed. There would be a mutual resolution to make your mental health needs person-centered. Subsequent visit will be shorter. This checks on how you have been doing since last seen, if there is any changes, adverse effect or side effects of the treatment and that was formulated, whereby adjustment if any could be made
